We had a little mishap in finding the location, so be sure you have the correct meeting point ahead of time. After that however we did enjoy learning about... read more the food and wine of the region. Learning to make paella was particularly interesting and fun for us. The class was an hour and half, so it does leave you time for other activities as well.

La recette était facile. Celle-ci était sans garnitures (œuf râpé et petits lardons).
Le local se situe dans un sous-sol sans grande luminosité.
Le chef était sympathique mais l’atelier n’était pas offert comme décrit ni par Mara, ni par Barbara.
Un peu onéreux pour l’atelier offert.

This was a fun experience hosted by Mara. Mara served several interesting wines, instructed us as we made salmorejo and seafood paella, and shared some cultural context about how friends... read more and family typically share paella. She was especially knowledgeable and passionate about the wine. It would have been nice if she would have provided a list of the wines she served and a copy of the recipes with a list of the spice mixes we used. Plan to take your own notes if you want to duplicate the recipes at home. My friend and I were the only guests on the day we there so it was like a private experience. Note that this is in a private courtyard, not a commercial kitchen.
