Mara de Miguel is a renowned Spanish sommelier who coined the term ‘Liquid Gastronomy’ in her career to delve deep into gastronomic culture through wine and other beverages. This concept has been widely accepted and used in numerous gastronomic events at the national level, as it represents a paradigm shift towards greater unity between the sensations we experience when eating and drinking.
Mara has studied both wines and spirits from around the world, traveling to numerous countries, learning about their cultures, production methods, and qualities. Experiencing a tasting session with Mara is synonymous with a spectacle, expertise, and large-scale learning. Her main focus is on quality and a commitment to wines from Montilla-Moriles and local products.

Adrián Díaz is a chef who loves to cook dishes from all five continents. In addition, he is passionate and a great connoisseur of wine. His career is vast, having worked as head chef in kitchens across Spain, and now he is focused on Things to do Córdoba with the mission of teaching the world about Córdoba’s gastronomy and how to make the most of local products. His principle is quality and local ingredients, although, as mentioned before, he is always ready to surprise with dishes from other cities and countries. He has also revived recipes from the Roman, Andalusian, and Jewish eras, as they are part of our culinary heritage. Going on a tapas tour with Adrián, taking a cooking class, or attending one of his pairing menus is an explosion of sensations and wisdom. Additionally, he can serve as a consultant for your restaurant if needed, as he will conduct the necessary market study to help your business soar to the moon!
